How To Check Your Airtel Data Balance

There are numerous ways of checking your Airtel data balance which we would be listing in this article, you can check to see which is one is suitable and easily memorialize for you.

 

Direct USSD Code For Normal And 2G Data Plans

This USSD code works for all data plan packages except BlackBerry subscription plans (even if you’re using it on Android).

All you need to do is simply dial: *141*11*0#.

or

*123*10#.

or

*141*712*0#.

And your data balance would be displayed for you almost immediately.

 

Direct SMS Code For Normal and 2G Data Plans

This USSD code works for all data plan packages except BlackBerry subscription plans (even if you’re using it on Android).

All you need to do is send:

“Status” without the quotes to 141.

Direct USSD Code For BlackBerry Plans

If you’re using a BlackBerry phone or using one of Airtel’s BlackBerry packages that works on all devices, you can’t check your data balance using any of the above method. The BlackBerry plans have their own special USSD code:

Simply dial *123*9# and your BlackBerry data balance would appear on your screen almost immediately.

 

Direct SMS Code For BlackBerry Plans

If you’re using a BlackBerry phone or using one of Airtel’s BlackBerry packages that works on all devices and you wish to check via SMS, you can’t check your data balance using the normal SMS data balance inquiry method . The BlackBerry plans have their own special SMS code:

Simply dial “Status” without the quotes to 440 and your BlackBerry data balance would be sent via SMS to you almost immediately.

 

Through *141# USSD Code

This method is a little bit complicated but easy to remember and navigate and it is Airtel’s SmartSpeedo USSD Menu interface:

Step 1: Dial *141# it would take to the SmartSpeedo USSD menu.

Step 2: On the USSD menu the “Check data balance” option isn’t on the 1st page, so you have to press * and press send.

Step 3: “Check data balance” will appear on the new page, press 7 and press send to select Check Data Balance.

After doing this, you’ll get a notification on your screen that your data balance would be sent to you via SMS, which you should get in a matter of seconds.

This method works for Normal data balance, BlackBerry data balance and your bonus data balance.

 

Through *121# USSD Code

This method is also a little bit complicated but easy to remember and navigate and it is Airtel’s SelfCare USSD Menu interface, where customers can check their number, current tariff plan, migrate to other plans, check their data balance and lot’s more.

Step 1: Dial *121# it would take to Airtel’s SelfCare USSD menu.

Step 2: On the USSD menu page, press 1, which is “My profile” and press send.

Step 3: On the next page different options would appear, press 6 and send to select “My Data Balance”.

After doing this, you’ll get a notification on your screen that your data balance would be sent to you via SMS, which you should get in a matter of seconds.

This method also works for Normal data balance, BlackBerry data balance and your bonus data balance.

I am using my mobile data and I have 2gb , and i always put the data limitation for only 1.5gb so when my data usage is already 1.5gb my phone always reminds me that i need to stop using data and i will used the remaning data for important purposes and also in order that not to overcharge my payment, so for me its important to check the balance of our data.
