Sterling Bank Plc originally incorporated in 1960 as Nigeria Acceptances Limited (NAL). The bank was licensed as Nigeria’s first merchant bank in 1969. We’ll Be Talking About The Mobile Banking App

Sterling Bank Mobile Banking App is called “Sterling Money” and it enables their customers to perform banking transactions with their phone anytime and anywhere. Customers can transfer funds, pay bills, buy airtime and do lots more. It is like having your bank in your hands and pockets.

 

How To Register And Activate The App

1. Download the App in your phone’s app store by searching for the keyword “SterlingBank”. Click and install it on your phone.
2. Launch the App on your phone.
3. After it must have finished loading, click you’d see three icons ” Login – Activate and Register “.
4. Click on Login, you’d be requested to enter your MDN Number and password, which is your Internet Banking user ID and password.

If you don’t have your Sterling Bank Internet Banking Details Yet

• Open your phone browser and goto https://bankonline.sterlingbankng.com/web/guest/home.
• Click on the ” New User? Sign Up” link.
• On the register page, enter your Account number and phone number in the field provided and click on the submit button.
• Follow the remaining prompts and successfully get your internet banking details.

 

5. If you have your internet banking details, input the user ID in the MDN number and enter your password and click on login. An activation key would be sent to the number connected to your sterling bank account.
6. Then you’d be taken to the Activation page in the App next, input your mobile number, the activation key sent to you earlier, enter a new pin that’d use to authorize transactions, enter the new pin again to confirm it and click on OK.
7. You’d be taken to another new page which is the register page in the App, input your phone number again, your Names, date of birth and email. Click on submit.

You have just successfully activated and registered your Sterling Money App.

 

How To Transfer Funds:

1. Once you’re logged in.
2. On the home page, you’ll see a list of transaction options. The first option transfer, select it.
3. On the transfer page, select if you want to transfer to a Sterling Bank account or to other banks.
4. After selecting, input the details of the person you wish to transfer to and the amount.
5. Enter the pin you created to authenticate the transaction.

 

To Check Your Account Balance

1. Once you’re logged in.
2. On the home page, you’ll see a list of transaction options. The last option is Account, select it.
3. Once you select it, it’d display your account balance for you, amongst other options.

 

How To Buy Airtime

1. Once you’re logged in.
2. On the home page, you’ll see a list of transaction options. The second option is Buy, select it.
3. Once you’re on the buy page, click on “Buy Airtime”.
4. Input the amount and the number you wish to buy airtime for.
5. Enter your pin to confirm your transaction.

 

How To Change Your Pin

1. Once you’re logged in.
2. On the home page, you’ll see a list of transaction options. The last option is Account, select it.
3. On the Account page, click on change pin.
4. Answer the required questions, enter your old pin, input your new pin and reenter it to confirm.
