MTN Xtrapro is one of MTN Nigeria’s low call tariff plans specially designed for their customers who love to make calls at a very affordable rate. Imagine calling all networks at the rate of 11k/s, cool right?
MTN Xtrapro offers you that and so many more, like free Health Tips subscription and EPL tips subscription for English Premiere League football lovers.
How This Package Work
All your calls to MTN and other networks in Nigeria from the 1st minute is charged at the rate of 11k per second I.e you call at the rate of N6.60k per minute.
But, there’s a catch! You’ll be charged a daily fee of N5 to enjoy this benefit. So imagine if you load a recharge of N200 and the daily fee of N5 is removed, you’ll still get to enjoy over 29 mins to call any network. Also a recharge of N100 with the N5 daily fee, will give you over 15 mins to call any network.
However, whether you make any call or not per day, N5 will still be deducted from your account. It one of the downsides of this plan.

To subscribe for MTN Xtrapro tariff dial *401# and select 1.
Via SMS: Send 401 to 131.

Other Benefits On MTN Xtrapro:
This plan comes with free EPL amd Health tips subscription for 7 days. However, after the first free 7 days, you’ll be charged N100 monthly for this subscription. If you wish to unsubscribe from the monthly subscription, you’ll have to customer care number on 181 to have it deactivated.
What The Plan Doesn’t Have
Due to the cheap call rates, the MTN Xtrapro tariff plan doesn’t give you free data bonus to browse the internet. If you wish to browse, you’d have to do the normal MTN data subscription plans, which you can subscribe for by dialing *131# and select anyone of your choice.
It also doesn’t offer discounted call rates to international numbers unlike some of their other plans. If you wish to call international numbers with your MTN sim, this is not the plan for you.
Overall, if you’re the type that loves to make phone calls with your MTN sim to all networks in Nigeria, this plan is just the perfect tariff for you.
