When talking about mobile phones, Nokia has a significant place in history. It was the most widely used mobile device brand between year 2003 and 2015 in Nigeria. Nokia had so many brand of devices with customer focused interest until the advent iPhone and smartphones began to challenge her existence.

 

In the year 2014, Nokia’s Devices and Services division was acquired by Microsoft. Not quite long after this acquisition, Finnish company HMD Global also acquired some part of Microsoft’s feature phone business. Their  licensing agreement enables them to make Android  smartphones with the Nokia brand, hence the advent of Nokia Android mobile devices.
