Airtel Night Plan: How To Migrate Step By Step And All You Must Know

Airtel Nigeria is one of Nigeria’s telecommunications giant with a very large user base and broad network connection.

They currently have the 3rd largest number of mobile internet users/subscribers in Nigeria, behind MTN and Glo, according to the last statistics released by the NCC.

 

Airtel Nigeria has very reasonable normal data plans at affordable prices that you can use to browse the Internet. But, did you know that they also have a night plan at a ridiculously cheap price? Which you can use download all your favorite movies, series, games and so much more. This night plan is perfect for those who love to download large files and usually due to the cost or data volume.

 

Airtel Night Plan

The night plan is almost this same as that of MTN, but the major difference is that it has an hour longer validity period than that of MTN and another added night plan that costs more.

 

How Much Is It?

Airtel Night plan costs just N25!!! Yes you read it right and guess what? You’ll be given a data volume of 500MB to download or browse on the internet all night.

They also have a 1.5GB night plan on the tariff which is not available on MTN, however it costs N200.

Validity Period:

This plan is only available from 12:00 am in the midnight to 5:00 am in the morning.

 

However, you can only buy this Night plan once in a night. Meaning that if you exhaust the 500MB for N25 and 1.5GB for N200 plan allocated to you for the night before 5am, you cannot subscribe for another Night plan.

 

How To Subscribe On This Night Plan 

To subscribe so as to enjoy the benefits of the MTN Night Plan you must first migrate to Airtel’s SmartTRYBE Tariff. The plan is only available for those on the SmartTRYBE, if you’re really interested in Airtel’s Night Plan you must leave your current tariff.

 

To join the SmartTRYBE tariff simply dial *312# and just like that you’re on the tariff. You can now enjoy the night plan.

 

If you’ve migrated to SmartTRYBE tariff successfully, simply dial *312# and follow the instructions on the USSD Menu. You’ll see the options for the N25 for 500MB and N200 for 1.5GB plan respectively.

 

NB: If you do not finish the data volume allocated for a night, you cannot use it to browse the next night or any other night, you will have to resubscribe again for another night plan.
