There are several ways to purchase airtime without cash at hand. One of such ways is to purchase it from your bank account directly. It is very simple and can be done in the few steps listed below;

 

Steps In Buying Airtime With Your Bank Account

1. Have a functional bank account with funds
2. Register a mobile number with it for your alert
3. Obtain the code use for recharging at your bank customer service
4. Request for the detailed procedure. This is because, most of the time the code is used for divers transactions apart from airtime recharge.

Also, note that you can as well recharge other people’s lines via these codes. You will be required to include the third party number in the code when you want to recharge another person’s line.

 

 

Below are the codes and various ways of buying airtime from the following banks

Access Bank, GTBank, First Bank, Skye Bank, Diamond Bank, Fidelity Bank, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Union Bank etc.

 

GTBank

To recharge your line from your GTBank account, simply Dial *737*amount# from your mobile phone. E.g. to recharge N1000, please dial  *737*1000#.

To recharge someone’s line, kindly dial *737*Amount*Friends number#. E.g. to recharge N1000 for a friend whose number is 08034567890 *737*1000*08034567890#.

The Maximum you can recharge is N5,000 per day.

Access Bank

To recharge your line from your Access Bank account, kindly dial *901*Amount# from your mobile phone. For instance, if you want to recharge N1000, simply dial *901*1000# and your mobile number will be credited instantly while you receive your bank debit alert.

The Maximum you can recharge is N5,000 per day

 

First Bank

To recharge your line from your First Bank account, please dial *894*amount# from your mobile phone. To recharge N100, please dial *894*1000#.

The daily Maximum recharge is N3,000 per day

 

Stanbic IBTC Bank

To recharge your line from your from your Stanbic IBTC Bank account,  simply dial *909*amount#. That is, if you want to recharge N850, simply dial *909*850# and your mobile number will be credited.

 

Zenith bank

To recharge from your zenith bank account, please dial *302*Amount# from your mobile phone. E.g if you like to recharge N100, simply dial *302*100# and you will be credited.

The Maximum you can recharge for a day is N5,000.

 

Union Bank

For Union Bank users, the USSD code for Union Bank mobile number recharge is *389*032*amount#. To recharge N5000 for example, please dial *389*032*5000# and you will be credited.

 

KeyStone Bank

For KeyStone Bank Recharge on the go, please dial *322*082*amount#. This is for MTN, Etisalat and Airtel. For Glo subscribers, please dial *805*082*amount#. If you want to recharge N700 for instance, for MTN, Airtel and Etisalat dial *322*082*700# while for Glo subscribers please dial *805*082*700# and your line with be credited.

 

Fidelity Bank

If you bank with Fidelity Bank and you wish to top up your mobile line with airtime, simply dial *770*amount#. E.g if you want to recharge N1000, kindly dial *770*1000#. You will be credited instantly.

Daily top-up limit is N5000.

 

Diamond Bank

For Diamond Bank airtime recharge, Simply Dial *904*Amount# on your mobile phone to recharge from the bank. E.g if you like to recharge N1000, simply dial *904*1000# and you will be credited.

 

EcoBank

To recharge your line from your EcoBank account,  simply dial *326*amount# E.g if you want to recharge N700, then dial *326*700# and your mobile line will be credited.

 

First City Monument Bank (FCMB)

To recharge your line from your FCMB account, please dial *389*214*amount#. To recharge N150, please dial *389*214*150# and your account will be credited with N150.

 

Skye Bank

For Skye Bank users, to recharge your mobile number from your account, simply dial *389*076*1*amount# on your mobile phone. For instance, if you want to recharge N400, kindly dial *389*076*1*400#.
