One those platforms offered by Nigerian commercial banks is the banking app. There is no commercial bank in the nation at the moment that doesn’t have its own mobile app. This is in an attempt to ease transactions for customers such as the transaction under discussion. - On your mobile device, launch your bank mobile app
- Login with your details
- Navigate to the menu and select quickteller option
- From there, select pay bills option
- Next is to select PHCN option
- Next you will be required to input your meter number and other required information
- Input the amount you wish to pay
- Generate one time password (OTP). This may not be available for all banks
- Verify the information on the invoice and if correct, click on continue
- Make payment with your PIN.
You will instantly get the debit alert from your bank and if you are a prepaid customer, you will be sent your token via SMS by which you may load the meter.
