How To Get Started
To get activate your Sterling Bank Account for internet banking, firstly you have to visit any Sterling Bank Branch closest to you to request for it.
You’ll be asked to fill a form and once your application to request that your account be activated for internet banking is approved, your internet banking details would be sent to your mail.
First Time Login
- Goto http://www.sterlingbankng.com
- Look for the Internet Banking login tab and click on sign in.
- On the Internet Banking homepage, input the User ID and password included in your email for your internet banking activation and login.
- Once you’re logged in you’ll ne asked to select some security questions and provide answers to them. This will be used in case you forget your password.
NB: The fields are case sensitive.
- After providing answers to the questions you’ll be asked to create a transaction password, enter your preferred transaction password and renter to confirm.
- Once you’ve logged in, change the password your default login password to a preferred password that only you know.
NB: When Requesting for your Internet Banking details, you’d need to request for Sterling Bank hardware token to carry out transactions successfully.

Subsequent Logins
- Goto Sterling Bank Internet Banking platform.
- Input your Login ID and password.
How To Transfer Funds
- Login into your internet banking account.
- On the homepage, you’ll see a “Transfer” link, click on it.
- You’d be taken to a page where you’ll select the Bank you want to send money I.e if it is to a Sterling Bank Account or other Banks, amongst other options.
- After selecting the bank, enter the details of the account and the amount you wish to transfer.
- Enter the transaction password that you created.
- Generate a code from your Sterling Bank hardware token to authenticate the transaction.
How To Check Your Account Balance
- Login into your internet banking account.
- On your account’s homepage, you’ll see Account. Click on it.
3. Once you’ve clicked on it your Account Balance would be displayed to you.
