Taraba State University, TSU, is among the tertiary institution that runs the co-educational system in Nigeria. The university was created in 2008 as a state government owned institution and was accredited by the National University Commission (NUC) for its programs. Taraba State University is situated at Jalingo in Taraba State Nigeria. Approved faculties are:

The University Requirements

Below are the Entry Requirements for all candidates seeking admission into Taraba State University degree programs

1. Selection of the Institution as part of their Choice of University (preferable First Choice) in the UTME form, is made compulsory for all applicant
2. It has been made compulsory for all the candidates seeking entry to have a minimum of Five (5) Credits in the approved O’level result; which include the WAEC, GCE, NECO, and SSCE
3. A minimum of 200 in the JAMB/ UTME conducted examination
4. Compulsory pass credit in subjects like English Language and Mathematics
5. Minimum of two sittings for the O’level result combination

How To Register For Taraba State University (TSU) PostUtme

Registration steps for Taraba State University Post UTME for all Undergraduate. These steps are to be taken in accordance.

• Log on to https://www.tsuniversity.edu.ng/home/portal/application/register.php
• Click on the button with “Register for Online Application”

• Provide the applicant “JAMB Number” in the space provided

• Fill in the applicant “Full Name” in the provided space
• Provide a valid email address into the space requesting for “Email Address”
• Enter the applicant “Username”

• Enter the “Password”

The “Username” and the “Password” for applicants are to be generated in the home page before the process begin

• Re-enter the Password for confirmation
• Choose on the preferred program

Note, for all undergraduate program, the preferred program should be “Degree”

• Tap on the “Entry Mode” button
• Select the applicant entry mode

Note, for the JAMB/UTME candidates, entry mode is (POST UTME), Direct Entry candidate, (DIRECT ENTRY), Transfer students (TRANSFER)

• Tap on the “Create Account” button
• Make a print out of the information in the next page

 

 

Taraba State University Screening Requirements

Below are the requirements requested for during the internal screening of candidates into the University.

• Original copy of the O’level Credentials (WAEC, NCE, NECO, GCE etc); showing the PIN number on the scratch card
• Original copy of the applicant JAMB Result
• A copy of the candidate birth certificate or declaration
• A letter of Attestation
• Original document of candidate Local government Area
• Recent passport photographs
• A copy of applicant Admission Screening Slip
• A copy of the payment Receipt
