We want to use this medium to inform all UTME candidates who applied for admission into the Kaduna State University (KASU) for the current academic session that the school Management has announced their cut off mark for admission exercise.

In case you don’t know, the Kaduna State University was founded under the Kaduna State Law Number 3 promulgated on 21st May, 2004. This means that the Kaduna State Government is the proprietor of the institution, while the state Governor is the visitor to the University.

All the prospective students who partake in the just concluded JAMB UTME examination and has chosen Kaduna State University KASU either their first choice (more preferred) or second choice (preferred) should go through this admission guideline. 

What Cut Off Mark Is

For those who don’t know, cut off mark is an agreed score set by a particular institution as a basic requirement for admitting students into the department of study. However, this score is usually accredited to candidates based on their exam performance. For all the students who have scored more than the required cut off mark will be given admission and will be preferentially treated in the admission process above those who have the exact cut off mark. So for you to score higher than the cut off mark, you are advice to get the post utme past questions and practice to get yourself prepared ahead of time.

The KASU Departmental Cut Off Mark And Point For All Courses 2020/2021 Academic Session

Please note that all the utme candidates that has relevant O’Level results and an accumulative score of 170 and above are qualified for the screening exercise.

  • The Faculty Of Agricultural Science is 170
  • The Faculty Of Environmental Sciences is 170
  • The Faculty Of Management Sciences is 170
  • The Faculty Of Social Sciences is 170
  • The Faculty Of Medicine is 200
  • The Faculty Of Pharmaceutical Sciences is 200

Please note that the departmental cut off Marks means that the institution has released a specific cut off Marks for different choice courses and department. In case your department wasn’t listed above, kindly visit the school portal for more info.

  • For indigene, you pay between N20,000 and N26,000
  • For non-Indigene, you pay between N30,000 and N36,000

The Faculty of Arts

  • For indigene, you pay between N20,000 and N26,000
  • For non-Indigene, you pay between N30,000 and N36,000

The Faculty of Environmental Sciences

  • For indigene, you pay between N20,000 and N26,000
  • For non-Indigene, you pay between N30,000 and N36,000

The Faculty of Medicine

  • For indigene, you pay between N24,000 and N27,000
  • For non-Indigenes, you pay between N36,000 and N38,000

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences

  • For indigene, you pay between N23,000 and N27,000
  • For non-Indigene, you pay between N32,000 and N37,000

The Faculty of Science

  • For indigene, you pay between N20,000 and N26,000
  • For non-Indigene, you pay between N30,000 and N36,000

The Faculty of Social and Management Sciences

  • For indigene, you pay between N20,000 and N26,000
  • For non-Indigene, you pay between N30,000 and N36,000
