UUN as it is popularly known, stands for University of Nigeria, Nsukka. It is located in Nsukka, Enugu State Nigeria. UNN is amongst the oldest federal university, and the full-fledged indigenous institution in the country. It was founded in the year 1955 by Dr. Nnamdi Azikwe and was accredited by the National University Commission (NUC) in 2015 after its accreditation by the Nigeria Government in 1960. The program offered by the institution includes the undergraduate’s program and the postgraduates program.
Admission Requirement Into The University Of Nigeria, Nsukka For Undergraduates Is Stated Below
- All candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credits passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics and other relevant subjects related to their chosen course of study; which should not be more than two sittings.
- All Candidates must choose the institution as part of their Choice of University (preferable FIRST choice) in the UTME form.
- All Candidates Cut-off mark must be a minimum of 200 in the conducted UTME/JAMB examination.
- Prospective candidates must meet the cut-off mark of the department of chosen course.
