Ogun State University (OSU) was founded in 1982 and was renamed in honour of the then civilian governor of Ogun State in person of, Chief (Dr.) Olabisi Onabanjo on 29 May, 2001 and it is called Olabisi Onabanjo University. Olabisi Onabanjo University; (OOU) as it is known, is a State-owned University, located in Ago-Iwoye, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria and also an operated University. OOU has several faculties and they are:

Admission requirements for ALL prospective JAMB/UTME candidates seeking entry into the above mentioned faculties of the Institution includes the following;
- Prospective Candidates must be choose the institution as their Choice of University
- All candidates must possess a minimum of Six (6) credits passes in relevant subjects including English Language and relevant subjects related to their chosen course of study; which should not be more than two sittings.
- Candidates Cut-off mark must be at least 180 in the conducted UTME/JAMB examination and must also beat the present/current cut-off mark of the institution.
- Prospective candidates must compulsorily sit for the Post UTME screening.
- Prospective candidates must meet the cut-off mark of the department of chosen course.
How To Check On OOU Admission List
Olabisi Onabanjo University admission list is only for candidates who sat for the Post UTME screening test and also beat the current cut-off mark of the institution. After meeting this requirement, the admission list can be checked by the steps stated below:
- Log on to https://www.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/portal/admission/login.php
- Enter the JAMB Registration Number in the provided space
- Enter the Password the “SURNAME” registered with in the provided space
- Click on the button “LOGIN” to on the admission status of the candidates.
