GTB Bank Mobile banking App platform enables to you perform many transactions from your phone like transferring money from your account to other person(s) account, buying airtime, pay bills ( e.g  Bill, Gotv, DSTV, Star Times Tv and so much more), check your account balance etc.

 

How To Register And Activate The Mobile Banking App

  1. Visit your phone’s App store, search for ‘GTBank’ and click the download/install button.
  2. Launch the App and input your Internet User ID and password.
  3. If you do not have a password you may dial *737*6*5# from your registered mobile phone for your login details and confirm request with either the last four digit of your ATM or your pin.

Alternatively check the email you used in opening your account with GT Bank. Your internet banking details is usually sent to your mail once you open an account with GTB via intops@Gtbank.com where you’ll see your Internet ID and Password.

 

And if you have forgotten your password, please click “Forgot Password?” on the login page to reset your password.

 

  1. At first login, you will be asked to verify your device. If this is your preferred device, please select ‘Yes’ and choose a transaction method (PIN or Token).
  2. If PIN is selected:
  • You will be required to agree with the Terms of Use and create a PIN which you will be using to complete your transactions instead of a token. Please note that you can always switch between PIN or token at any time by simply going to the Settings Menu of the mobile app.
  • A 5-digit secure code will be sent to your registered mobile phone via SMS to verify your device. If you do not receive this message please generate a code from your hardware token or dial *737*7# from your registered phone number to obtain a one-time verification code. You can also call GTConnect on 08039003900 or 08029002900 for the verification code.
  • Enter this code in the app and your mobile phone will be successfully verified against your account profile. Now you can start using the App. Please note that this is required only when using a device for the first time.

 

If Token Is Selected

  • If you chose to use the token as your preferred means of verifying your transactions, you will also be sent the 5-digit secure code via SMS to verify your device for the first time. Enter this code and your mobile phone will be successfully verified against your account profile. You will then be able to start using the GTBank Mobile App with your hardware or 737 Token.
  • Please note that you are not restricted to any device. All you need do at the first login is to select “No! This device is not mine” from the device verification screen. You will then be able to carry on using the GTBank App with either the Hardware or 737 Token as the means of completing your transactions.

How To Create Your Four Digit Pin To Confirm Transactions Instead Of Using Hardware Token

  1. Login to your account.
  2. Click the Menu Button to bring a list of options.
  3. Select “Service and help” from the list of options.
  4. Look for change “Change Authentication method”. Click on pin.
  5. Create your pin
  6. A 5-digit code would be sent to you via SMS, enter it and confirm.

Now you can use your four digit pin to confirm transactions.

 

How To Transfer Funds

  1. Login into your account.
  2. Click the Menu Button to bring out a list of options.
  3. Select “Transfer funds”.
  4. Choose the bank you wish to transfer either GTB or other banks.
  5. After selecting the bank, input the details of the account and the amount you wish to transfer.
  6. Enter the four digit pin you created or generate a hardware token to confirm transaction.

 

How To Buy Airtime

  1. Login into your account.
  2. Click the Menu Button to bring out a list of options.
  3. Click on Airtime and Payments.
  4. Select “Airtime Top Up”.
  5. Input the amount and the number you wish to transfer to after confirming the network.
  6. Enter your 4-digit pin to confirm.

 

How To Check Your Account Balance

Once you login into your account, the default Account page would show you account balance.

 

How To Change Your Password Or Pin

  1. Login into your account.
  2. Click the Menu Button to bring out a list of options.
  3. Select “Service and help” from the list of options.
  4. In the new page select “Change Password”
  5. Enter the appropriate information in the required filed and click on “confirm password”
  6. A confirmatory page would appear showing that you’ve successfully changed your password.
