There are lots of transactions you can perform with First Bank Mobile Banking platform, with it’s special USSD code being *894#. You can check your account balance, transfer funds(money) from your account to another account (both for first bank and other banks in Nigeria), buy credit for yourself and or others and so much more.
How To Get Started
To register for the First Bank Nigeria Mobile Banking platform you must have an account with First Bank and the number you wish to use to transact on the Mobile Banking platform must be the one you used to open an account with First or that you registered with your First Bank account.
Steps To Register A First Bank Mobile Banking
Once you’re sure you meet up with the criterias above:
Step1. Simply dial *894*0#
Step2. A list of masked debit card numbers linked to your account is displayed.
Step3. Select the preferred ATM card you wish to use.
Step4. Enter the 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) for the selected ATM card.
Step5. Create a new 5-digit PIN. This pin would be use to complete or confirm future transactions.
Your number is now LIVE on the FirstBank USSD Quick Banking Service.
For Those Who Do Not Have A FirstBank ATM Card
Step1. Simply dial; *894*0#
Step2. Provide your 10-digit FirstBank account number.
Step3. Create a new 5-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN)
Your number is now LIVE on the FirstBank USSD Quick Banking Service.
How To Check Your Account Balance
Simply dial *894*00#
You will receive an SMS notification showing the balances on all your accounts.
How To Buy Airtime On Firstbank Mobile Banking App
Airtime Recharge for Self (The number you used to open an account).
Step1. Dial *894*Amount# (For example, to recharge N1,000 airtime for yourself, dial *894*1000#).
Step2. Your accounts are displayed for selection, (if you have more than one account with FirstBank)
Step3. Select the account you want to pay from.
Transaction is completed.

Airtime Recharge For Others Or Your Number That Isn’t Linked To Your First Bank Account

Step2. Enter your 5-Digit PIN that you creates when registering for First Mobile Banking platform.
Step3. Your accounts are displayed for selection, (if you have more than one account with FirstBank)
Step4. Select the account you want to pay from.
Transaction is processed and completed.
NB: The maximum amount of airtime you can recharge for yourself at once is N10,000 and per day is N10,000.
Any recharge on your line above N3,000 requires that you enter your 5 Digit pin.
How To Transfer Money To Any Bank Account In Nigeria
Step1. Dial *894*Amount*Account Number# (For example – Dial *894*5000*1234567890# to send N5,000 to account number 1234567890).
Step2. Select the bank you are Transferring to.
Step3. Confirm beneficiary’s name, amount, and enter your 5-digit PIN.
Step4. Your accounts are displayed for selection, (if you have more than one account with FirstBank).
Step5. Select account to you want to Transfer from.
Transaction is processed and completed.
NB: There is no minimum single transaction amount ime you can send less than N1,000 to any account.
Maximum single transaction amount is N100,000.
Daily transfer limit is N100,000.
All fund transfer transactions require your 5 digit PIN.
