The names of candidates offered provisional admission into the Ebonyi state university undergraduate programmes for the 2018/2019 academic session has been released by the management.

 

How To Check

PC GUIDE:

  • Logon to the school’s admission status checking portal at https://www.ebsu.edu.ng/app/admissions/adm_status_default_page.
  • Choose the type of programme i.e. JAMB or Direct Entry.
  • Choose the search pattern i.e. by JAMB Registration Number or
  • Fill in, either your JAMB registration Number or your name, depending on which search pattern you had chosen.

Your EBSU admission status will be revealed to you.

EBSU Acceptance Fee Payment And Registration Procedure

ACCEPTANCE FEE PAYMENT:

Successful Candidates must pay the sum of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000) as an acceptance fee with a transaction charge of (N315). To pay, follow these procedure;

 

  • Generate an invoice for acceptance fee payment. Start by Creating a portal account by logging to www.ebsu.edu.ng/portal.
  • Click “CREATE A PORTAL ACCOUNT HERE” link.
  • Under student type, select New Student (Current Year 1)
  • Enter your jamb registration number in the column you see.
  • Click on the “Verify button” to generate a default account detail with your password
  • Logon to the portal with your jamb registration number and your default password.
  • Update Your personal profile and proceed.
  • Generate invoice by Clicking on the Acceptance fee and choose Get Acceptance Invoice from the dropdown link that appears then Print.
  • Proceed to any bank of your choice for payment or pay online by clicking on the payment link on the invoice page.
  • When you are done, go back to the portal to print your acceptance letter and online admission letter.

NOTE

  • Every newly admitted Candidate must generate their acceptance and school fee payment invoice from the University portal alone. Other payments from any other platform in considered invalid and won’t be accepted.
  • The number of candidates admitted in every programme is always more than the number to be registered and accepted. Simply put, mere admission doesn’t guarantee an automatic registration. For that reason, registration is strictly on the basis of first come, first serve and a minimum of two weeks is given for every candidate to process his/her registration.

Further payments made fter the deadline shall only be acceptable on revalidation/approval by the University as payment made behind approved schedule shall not be refunded and the candidate also stands the risk of forfeiting his/her admission.

 

 

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES:

After paying the nonrefundable acceptance fee, applicants will be given an electronic receipt which the candidate must take to the school to receive the applicable service. Every Candidate is advised to turn up at the EBSU Bursary Unit with the electronic receipt to obtain an Original EBSU Bursary receipt which serves as evidence of payment of the N30,000 acceptance fee.  afterwards, candidates are advised to turn up  at the EBSU Admission Unit for commencement of documentation with the originals of the following;

  • JAMB Result slip
  • O’level result(s) slip (SSCE/NECO or NABTEB)
  • PD result slip (where applicable)
  • Print-out of acceptance fee acknowledgement slip
  • G.A. Identification Letter
  • EBSU Bursary receipt (ie. evidence of payment of N30,000 acceptance fee).

Complying strictly with these instructions is highly advisable.
