How To Enroll For Federal University Lokoja Part Time Programs

We are here to inform the General Public that applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the part time postgraduate programme of the Federal University, Lokoja (FULOKOJA), for the current academic session.

THE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Requirements For Master’s Degree (Academic and Professional)

The FULokoja master degree programme is available to all candidates for at least 4 semesters and a maximum period of 6 semesters for full-time candidates and for at least 6 semesters and for a maximum period of 8 semesters for all part-time candidates. Here are the qualification for the Master Degree admission:

1. The graduates of Federal University Lokoja or other institutions recognized by the senate, who have Bachelor degree with at least second-class division or its equivalent
2. Also candidates with only Bachelor’s degree in Third Class division and any relevant Postgraduate Diploma
3. All candidates should possess five (5) relevant O’level credits which must include English and Mathematics.
4. All applicant need NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.

Requirements For Master Of Philosophy (M.Phil.)

The FULokoja Master of Philosophy degree programme is only available to all full-time candidate which runs for at least two (2) semesters and a maximum period of four (4) semesters. Here are the qualification for Master of Philosophy admission:

1. All the graduates of FULokoja and any other institutions recognized by the senate who have a Master degree (Academic) with a CGPA of less than 3.0 on a 4-point scale or a CGPA not more than 4.0 on 5 point scale.
2. All holders of Master degree (Academic) in a relevant discipline with a CGPA of 4 and above.
3. All candidates should possess five (5) relevant O’level credits which must include English and Mathematics.
4. Must have NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate

Requirements For Doctor Of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

For the Ph.D. degree programme which runs for a minimum period of six (6) semesters and a maximum period of ten (10) semesters. Here are the qualification for the Doctor of Philosophy admission:

1. All graduates of Federal University Lokoja and other institutions recognized by the senate, who have good Master degree (Academic) with a CGPA of at least 4.0 on a 5 point scale or at least 3.0 on a 4 point scale which must be appropriate to the proposed area of study.
2. All graduates of Federal University Lokoja and other institutions recognized by the senate, who have obtained Master of Philosophy degree appropriate to the proposed area of study.
3. And in addition to the above, all candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree with Second Class lower division.
4. All candidates must possess five (5) relevant O’level credits which must include English and Mathematics.
5. Must have NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate

To Enrol For The Part Time Program

• Applicants need to visit the University website at www.fulokoja.edu.ng  
• Then click on the PG Portal
• You must create a Postgraduate account by clicking on Create your PG Account
• Next, fill in the required fields and Create An Account
• Then login to the PG Portal with your created PG account email address
• You must generate and print out your payment invoice which contain your payment RRR
• And with the generated RRR, pay application fee of N10, 000.00 using the REMITA services.

To pay with Card: go to  www.remita.net, s then click on “Pay an Electronic Invoice“, input your generated RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference), and process your payment with relevant card details.

To pay with Bank: go to any bank close to you that offers REMITA services and pay using your generated RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) on your payment invoice.

• Then return to the University’s PG Portal to confirm your payment.
• Next, complete your application form online and print out your Bio-data Slip
