Transcripts are important documents that detail all courses attempted, grades obtained, and degrees and awards that are vested on a student during an academic programme. Transcripts are usually required when you plan to study abroad or further education as they give a holistic idea of your academic performance. In this article we will teach you how to obtain your transcript at UNILAG.
These are the steps to get a UNILAG Transcript with ease:
Where Can You Send The Official Transcript Of Your L.I.P?
If you are a student at a university outside of Nigeria, then you can send your UNILAG transcripts to the Registrar of the equivalent academic institution, Dean of Postgraduate School of the academic institution, Embassies, and Scholarship Boards. In the case of students studying in Nigeria, these emails usually have the following format: registrar@…, internationaladmissions@…, and so on.
If you wish to get the official transcript, you must provide the official email address of the academic institution. The email address you need is the one you used to apply. This is the one that shows up on your application.
The official website of academic institutions, embassies, scholarship boards, etc. can also receive an upload of the official transcript. The link, username and password can be provided by you and you will receive an email after uploading the document. You can view the upload and download the document in the email.
You must provide a reference number, application ID, or student ID, in the address section of your application, which is required by the evaluating entity. If you don’t provide this, your application will be invalid and will not be considered. This includes your student ID, which is required by ICAS for their transcripts.
