How To Make A Cash Deposit On Access Bank ATM Or Other Banks
Making cash deposit is a lot easier since the introduction of NCR’s next generation ATMs that allows you to make cash deposits on ATMs as opposed to the traditional banking hall method. Some people are not aware of this, while some are uncomfortable with the idea or are ignorant as to how to go about it.
Read the procedure below on how to make a cash deposit on approved ATM
Card Less Cash Deposit To Bank Account
- Press any button on the ATM screen
- Click on Deposit Cash
- Enter any 4 digit access code of your choice
- Select account type savings/current
- Enter the beneficiary account number
- Insert the cash and wait for the ATM to sort the cash and display cash details
- If satisfied press deposit
- Amount will be deposited and a receipt generated
- Account is credited and SMS sent to confirm the deposit.

Card Based Cash Deposit To Account Operated By Same Bank
- Insert your ATM card into the machine
- Enter you 4 digit pin
- Click on deposit cash
- Select account type savings/current
- Enter beneficiary account number
- Insert cash and wait for ATM to sort cash and display cash details
- If satisfied press deposit
- Cash will be deposited and receipt generated
- Account is credited and SMS sent to confirm the deposit
Card Based Cash Deposit To Account Operated By Different Bank
- Press any button on the ATM
- Click on deposit cash
- Enter any 4 digit access code of your choice
- Select deposit to other bank
- Select the preferred bank
- Select the account type savings/current
- Enter account number of the beneficiary
- Enter the beneficiary phone number
- Enter phone number of depositor
- Insert cash and wait for ATM to sort the cash and display cash details
- Confirm the beneficiary details shown on the screen
- If satisfied click on proceed to continue
- Amount will be deposited and a receipt generated
Please Note:
- Not all ATMs accept cash deposit transactions
- For successful transactions, account will be credited immediately.
- Not all cards are accepted. Only MasterCard and Verve card can be used for cash deposit at ATMs
- Ensure that you keep the receipt generated after the transaction as evidence in case of complaints
- Be careful when pulling cash in public, be extra vigilant and ensure that the surrounding is safe before making cash deposits using ATMs.
