You can get admission into the institution to study, as they offer variety of courses in different faculties. You can study for a certificate course, diploma, undergraduate, post graduate, masters and Ph. D programmes
NOUN Admission Requirements
- For certificate programme
- The proficiency certification courses
- You don’t need any experience to be qualified
- You must have the ability to read and write
- Academic Certificate Courses
- You need minimum of 2 credits in NECO, WAEC, GCE “O” level and not more than two sittings
- T.C II with minimum of 2 merits at not more than 2 sittings
- Diploma Programmes
- You will need a minimum of 3 merits in Teacher’s Grade II at maximum of 2 sittings
- 3 credit passes in NECO, WAEC, GCE “O” level at a maximum of 2 sittings
- An academic certificate from NOUN or any other recognised institution
- A senior Islamic certificate which must include Arabic and Islamic studies
- For the undergraduate programmes
- For 100 Level Entry:
- You need minimum of 5 credit in NECO, WAEC, GCE “O” level at not more than 2 sittings which must be obtained in relevant subject in the proposed course of study
- Teacher’s Grade II certificate with 5 merit as the minimum or with combination of 5 “O” level credit for students who intend studying Law, which must include English language, literature in English and at least a pass in Mathematics in not more than 2 sittings
- For school of sciences and technology, you will need 5 “O” level credit which must include English language and Mathematics.
- For school of Education, you will need minimum of 5 “O” level credit which should include Mathematics for Science Education and English language.

- For 200 Level Entry:
- You will need ND from a recognised institution
- You will need NCE in subjects that are relevant to the programme the student intend to study. For those who intend to study the Early Childhood and Primary Education Programme should have a minimum of 1 merit and 2 passes in their NCE
- A minimum of 2 “A” level passes in subjects that are relevant to proposed course from IJMB with appropriate number of “O” level credit passes need for students who intend to study Law and a minimum of second class lower degree from a recognised institution
How To Apply
- Go to their web portal nounonline.net
- From their homepage, check the menu bar, click the button “apply for Admission”
- Choose the programme you want (undergraduate, postgraduate, etc.)
- Move to choose faculty which you can find at the left hand side
- Choose a faculty of your choice
- Complete the displayed form
- Click on the button “view admission criteria”
- Click on the button “apply to Proceed”
- Ensure you note down the unique ID that will be displayed
- Then click on the continue button
- Choose bank as payment type
- Click pay button
- Write down the RRR number and take it to bank for payment
Application Fees
- For undergraduate programmes, fee is ₦5, 000
- For postgraduate programmes, fee is ₦7, 500
- For Ph. D programmes, fee is ₦10, 000.
