How To Registration On This Platform

Every sterling bank account holder can register for the Mobile transfer code on the mobile line registered with their account on which they do receive their transaction alerts. They may as well  be prompted to register if they try to perform transaction with the code. Please dial *822*1*NUBAN#. You will be required to create a PIN which will be needed to confirm your transactions especially for the Intra and Inter Bank transfer services on the USSD platform. Sterling Bank Corporate account holders are not eligible.

If you are not a sterling bank account holder, you can register for an account via the transfer code. To do this, please dial *822*7# and then follow the prompt to enter your name, date of birth, sex and BVN and your account number will be forwarded to you once your registration becomes successful. This type of account is called a tier 1 kia kia savings account.

 

Airtime Recharge

With the sterling bank transfer code, you can recharge your line and that of loved ones. To recharge your line, simply dial *822*AMOUNT#. That is, if you want to recharge N200, simply dial *822*200# on your registered line.

To recharge a different line please dial *822*AMOUNT*MOBILE NO#. That is, if you want to recharge N300 on 08012345678, simply dial *822*300*08012345678# and the number will be recharged.

This service enables you to purchase up to N20,000 airtime in a transaction, and not more than N20,000 per day.

 

How To Do Fund Transfer

With the sterling code, you can transfer money from your sterling bank account to both sterling bank recipients and non sterling bank recipients. For either of the transfer, you may dial *822# and follow through the prompt to make transfer.

You may dial *822*4*AMOUNT*NUBAN# to transfer fund to sterling bank recipients and to other banks dial *822*5*AMOUNT*NUBAN# and follow the prompt to complete the transaction.

The service allow you to transfer up to N50,000 per transaction and N100,000 is the daily limit for both the savings and current account.
